Foundations of Healthy Workplace Culture

Every organization has a culture. The question is whether we are cultivating the culture we want to have intentionally, or whether we are putting up with a culture that is contributing to ill-health instead of well-being.

A few more words about this course

We sometimes think of organizational culture as something that is the responsibility of leaders. And leaders do have significant influence over culture. However, culture is what we co-create every day in the ways that we interact with each other. What do we want the experience of working each day to be like? Each one of us can make a difference!
Throughout this course you will:

  • Define organizational culture
  • Identify the components of organizational culture
  • Describe the link between organizational culture and employee well-being
  • Discuss the importance of connecting to purpose as part of organizational culture
  • Identify some characteristics of your preferred organizational culture
  • Identify personal, team and/or organizational actions to move intentionally towards your preferred culture
