In this course, you'll learn the steps to take to identify the areas of strength to leverage and the opportunities for improvement in your data. You'll learn how to identify priorities, brainstorm for alternatives, determine recommendations and develop project plans to make meaningful change. We'll share resources to help you along the way, and finally we'll help you with communication plans to keep your teams informed.

  • Identify your organization's strengths and consider how to leverage them;
  • Identify your organization's opportunities for improvement - for the whole organization and/or for specific teams or groups;
  • Prioritize what to take action on first;
  • Develop action plans that will keep you clear and accountable to making progress;
  • Develop communication plans that help you to keep everyone informed along the way;
  • Build the continuous cycle of Insights to Action in your organization.

Dr. Kate Toth, CHRL
About
Kate Toth is a Director of Strategic Well-Being Services at YMCA WorkWell. With 25 years of HR and post-secondary teaching experience, Kate is passionate about helping leaders create great places to work. She has a PhD in Health Psychology, a Master's in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, and is a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) with the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA). She has conducted research in mental health and work for more than a decade. 
Kate Sturgess, MBA
About
Kate Sturgess is a Director of Strategic Well-Being Services at YMCA WorkWell. She brings experience from almost two decades in Financial Services and the Non-Governmental sector in operations, project management and human resource roles, where she led highly engaged hybrid teams and coached over 50 senior leaders. Kate also holds an International MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University with a focus on Strategy and Organizational Behaviour. 
Tessa Neilson, PhD Candidate
About
Tessa Neilson is the Well-Being Services Facilitator at YMCA WorkWell. Tessa loves data and its ability to help leaders take targeted action to support employee well-being. She is a PhD Candidate in Organizational Leadership at the University of Guelph, and has a Master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Calgary. She specializes in research in mental health and work.
